OASIS National Employee Group (EG) was awarded the Best Overall Excellence in Action Award at the AT&T Employee Group Conference - initiatives were submitted from among 50+ Employee resource groups in the AT&T group of companies which span across 35+ countries around the world
Primary Duties include creating all National communications to actively managing (producing content for OASIS website to support all National initiatives) (Jan 2020- Dec 2021)
Core Team member – National Initiative strategy, planning & implementation. Key Roles in multiple committees including Scholarship, Mentoring, ERG Event planning and implementation (Jan 2020-Dec 2021)
Created and managed National website content, PowerPoint presentations; Coordinated, collaborated and assisted in the creation of videos for most of the national initiatives – to promote the non profit’s involvement and improve outreach in the community.
Created content to explain aspects of Indian customs and culture for members and non members alike
President – OASIS Southeast (Jan 2018 – Dec 2019)
Created an Initiative to encourage members to read more books. Summarized and presented about 40 different books from different categories – Finance, Self Development, Philosophy, Health.
Actively involved in promoting Sustainability efforts throughout the country by educating members on the why, what and how by creating presentations, articles and easy to use resources.
Behind the scene support for logistics for the Introduction to Entrepreneurship workshop (With DECA and the other OASIS regions), Scholarship committee, National Initiative Strategy and direction in various efforts.
Vice President – Professional Development Southeast (Jan 2016 – Dec 2017)
Created and implemented a 1 day workshop (OASIS Business Entrepreneurship Program) to introduce high school students to concepts of starting their own business. Conducted Workshops for student groups ranging from 50-180. (Finalist Employee Resource Group in Action Awards)
Coordinated different efforts across the country in partnership with DECA representatives. (DECA Inc. is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit student organization with more than 225,000 members in 50 US states, Canada, Guam, Puerto Rico and Germany.)
Trained, mentored other regional volunteers on the material and logistics.
Implemented turn key solutions with easy to follow directions to conduct their own workshops.
These workshops have been conducted in 8 cities across the US and have since reached over 2000+ students from under served communities. (Learn More)
